Route Planning: Height, Width and Weight
Confirm that every part of the route can accept your vehicle.
Know your dimensions
Record the operating height, width and weight, including roof equipment and the current load. Values can change when equipment or cargo changes.
Plan a suitable route
Check bridges, tunnels, narrow roads, weight limits, restricted areas and suitable turning locations. Do not rely only on passenger-car navigation.
Uncertainty means stop
If a sign, obstruction or clearance is uncertain, stop in a safe place and verify. A slow collision is still a serious collision.
