Rain, Night Driving and Reduced Visibility
Adapt speed, lights and spacing when grip or vision is reduced.
Wet roads change the margin
Rain reduces grip and can hide lane markings. Slow down, increase the following gap and avoid abrupt steering or braking.
See and be seen
Use the correct lights for the conditions. Keep lamps and windows clean, dim high beams for other traffic and avoid staring into glare.
Know when to stop
If dust, fog or heavy rain makes the road unclear, reduce speed progressively and move to a safe location when continuing would be unsafe.
